Cutting Edge Service

Focus, focus, focus. At Great Bay Motorcycles we specialize in servicing the brands of bikes we sell. You’ll never see a “small engine repair” sign in our window. Snowmobile, ATV, watercraft and lawnmower service? You have to be kidding. We're experts in factory-certified service for modern Ducati, Triumph, and Vespa/Piaggio models (from 1990 to present). We believe you can’t truly master something unless you focus on it.
Speaking of masters, Mike Archambault our lead service tech is a certified Level III Ducati Master Technician, one of only 14 in the USA. There is no level IV, so when you’re talking to Mike, you’re talking to the best. Mike is joined by service manager Randy Pawlyk, a 20 year veteran specializing in European bikes most of his career. Ben Carton and Nick Lange, both Level I techs, round out our service staff.
Don’t be shy. There is nobody at Great Bay you can’t talk to. If you want to speak to the tech who will be working on your bike, just ask. They can explain what they’re going to do or, after the fact, what they found out and how they dealt with it. Have a question, no problem. Want to understand how some component of your bike works, great, we love explaining things.

Serious investment. Not only do we provide top training to our service techs, we invest heavily in the specialized equipment necessary to service your bike correctly. We have over $50,000 in specialized Ducati tooling and another $20,000 in Triumph specific tools. The right tool for the job saves our time, your money, and ensures your investment is not damaged by improper tooling.

In addition, we have the resources in house that are required to put your bike in top running condition:
- polishing facilities
- a large blast cabinet
- grinders
- mechanical press
- motorcycle specific tire machine
- Snap-On computerized tire balancer
- exhaust gas analyzers
- four bay service area
We only cut corners when we ride. We use genuine OEM parts exclusively. We don’t believe in taking chances on high-performance machines with our customers on-board. Your safety is our number one concern. In fact, we provide a 30-point safety inspection for every service, including oil changes. And, we maintain a critical part inventory of the most commonly needed parts to speed service time and get you back on the road quickly.
Ride instead of wait. As much fun as it is hanging around the shop, we figured you’d probably prefer to be riding while your bike is having a “While You Wait” service (like a break-in service, for example). We have a small fleet of Triumph Bonnevilles you can buzz around on during your service. There’s a twisty ocean-side road just around the corner to keep you entertained for awhile. Why be bored or inconvenience friends and family when you could be having fun on a Bonneville? These loaners are for customers who have purchased new bikes from us and are available on a first-come first-serve basis.
Be a gapper, it’s ok. Randy Pawlyk, our service manager, is a scheduling magician. He is well versed in the black art of fitting a bike in for service when there is no apparent opening available. The secret is, he leaves gaps in the schedule for handling emergencies. This makes life a little harder for him but, a lot easier for you. If you need the impossible, try us, we just might be able to squeeze you in.
Valet Service, without the meal. We know it can be hard sometimes to get your bike to the shop, no time, no trailer, whatever the reason. That’s why we offer a pick up and deliver service for our customers. We’re fully insured and have lot’s of experience moving bikes. Eliminate that last excuse for putting your bike back on the road.
We’ve got your back. In the unfortunate event of a roadside breakdown our customer’s can call us during business hours for a bike pickup. If we can't respond for some reason, we'll direct you to someone who can. We know how it feels, we’ll do everything we can to help you out.
