Love of motorcycling
Customer's Should Know
When people ask how long I've been motorcycling, I sometimes smirk as I realize it's been more than half my life! Growing up, my parents never allowed me to have a bike, but the kids next door were a "bad influence" as we rode their dirt machines through the woods almost daily. Throughout high school, I shared an old dual-sport with a buddy of mine (always keeping it at his house, of course). The "bike gene" was clearly well-ingrained in my DNA. Not long after venturing out on my own, I procured an old beater (read: GS450) from a roommate who needed rent money. It had over 20,000 miles on it, and was held together with duct tape and coat hangers, but I was in my glory! It was my only transportation for almost two years. Sun, rain, snow, I rode through it all, sometimes with said 275lb roommate on the pillion...
Looking back at that monstrosity, and knowing what I know today, it's a miracle I survived to tell about it! From there on, it's been a blur of different bikes, rides, and adventures! For the past 15 years, I've been fortunate enough to make my passion my living. It's been quite the experience, and I look forward to what the future holds....
